Staying Awake To Chase a Dream

Some people find their true-calling late in life. Others find it through trying a variety of different things as they grow. I was lucky enough to know I wanted to be an illustrator the first time I picked up a pencil at four years of age. This is what I've always wanted to do, and if you'd like me to do it for you too, then that can be arranged!

Born in Norfolk in 1984, I attended Norwich University College of The Arts eighteen years later and left with a degree in Graphic Design: Illustration. Afterwards I worked as a graphic designer for Virgin Wines for a couple of years before leaving to explore the world of freelance illustration for a while, before settling into my current role as a designer for an eclectic variety of restaurants. I work from a rather colourful studio in my spare time and tend to the chickens in the back garden occasionally.

If you like the look of my portfolio at fizzyegg.co.uk and you think my style would suit a project of yours, don't hesitate to get in touch as I'm always open to new adventures!

Well, this is what happens when I have no clear direction in mind, only pick up a pen every few days and get bored. I’m definitely working on some other things but I’m over this one.

Talmak progress!  Not much longer now.  He needs a little airbrushing, eyelid edging (and some tweaking to his facial expression; he looks a little wired), and little touches like jaw elastic, and then he is DONE!

Alien Brain Hemorrhage Shooter

Feel like adding a little X-Files to your drinky? Pour some Peach Schnapps into a shot glass, layer some Baileys on top, then dribble a little Aftershock Red, Blue, and Orange in the middle. The result is a Dali-esque drink that resembles an extraterrestrial dying while having an MRI scan. Before you die, your brain releases tons and tons of endorphins that make you feel a range of emotions. Tragically delicious.
